Fleet Graphics & Decals

Fleet graphics & vehicle decals

Keep your business recognizable.

One vehicle or a mixed fleet: start with what people need to recognize. Custom graphics should make the business name, key information and visual identity work together on the vehicles you actually use.

Decide what someone should notice first.

Business name.
Recognizable identity.
The useful details.

A vehicle does not give every message equal space. Prioritize the business name or logo, then decide which contact or service information needs to be readable.

Body seams, windows, doors and viewing angles affect where information can sit. A layout that works on a flat artwork file still needs to be considered on the vehicle.

Think about coverage before the brief.

These are planning categories to discuss, rather than fixed packages. The exact surfaces, material and scope need to be confirmed for each vehicle.

Decals & lettering

Selected panels or information can keep the focus on the business name and contact details. Identify placement and send photographs showing the available space.

Partial coverage

Larger graphics can work with the existing paint colour. Consider where the graphics end, how both sides relate and whether different vehicle colours affect consistency.

Extensive coverage

A more continuous treatment needs careful review of body contours, existing paint condition and the areas included. Confirm the exact scope rather than assuming every surface will be covered.

One identity. Different vehicles.

A pickup, a van and a trailer are different canvases. Consistency comes from the logo, colours, typography and order of information, with layouts adapted to each body style.

Build the vehicle list.

  • Quantity, year, make, model and body style
  • Vehicle colour and clear side and rear photographs
  • Close-ups of relevant surface conditions
  • Trailer dimensions, doors and fixtures

Plan around working vehicles.

Explain which units can be made available and which need to remain in service. Flag old graphics, repainting, repairs or planned branding changes.

Confirm preparation, installation, removal and scheduling arrangements for the actual project. Future fleet additions may need a fresh match assessment.

What shapes the project scope?

Vehicle mix and quantity, artwork readiness, coverage, surface condition and existing graphics all affect the work involved. Material and finish choices, installation and removal also need to be discussed.

If you are matching an existing fleet, include original artwork and photographs. Explain which elements must remain consistent, rather than relying on a small logo screenshot alone.

Send a fleet brief that gets to the point.

  • Business name and the person coordinating the project
  • Vehicle list and clear photographs
  • Logo files, colours and exact wording
  • New design, matching fleet or replacement graphics
  • Coverage ideas, existing graphics and surface history
  • Location, timing and vehicle availability

Plan your fleet graphics.

Start with the vehicles and what you need them to communicate. Include any operational constraints so they are part of the first conversation.

Email a fleet enquiry

Useful questions before committing.

Can I start with one vehicle?

Include the single vehicle in your enquiry and explain whether it may become part of a larger fleet. Scope and arrangements can then be discussed for that project.

How long will the graphics last?

Service life depends on the material system, application, exposure and care. Request the specifications, care guidance and applicable warranty for your particular project.

What should I confirm about installation?

Ask where and how installation would be arranged, what preparation is needed and how existing graphics or surface damage affect the work. Confirm timing before taking a vehicle out of service.
